Camp Split Rock

Camp Split Rock is owned and administered by the Camp Split Rock Trust.

It is the Trust’s responsibility to maintain the property in such condition that the property may be safely accessed and utilized.

Heart of New England Council, BSA facilitates the scheduling of any Camp Split Rock rentals through its existing reservation platform.

Since 1945, Camp Split Rock has hosted Scouts from across New England. Situated on Lake Winnekeag, Camp Split Rock is home to a number of cabins and campsites of various sizes. Units often use Camp Split Rock to hike nearby Mt. Watatic, enjoy some time on the skip slopes of Mt. Wachusett, or hike parts of the Midstate Trail. The adventurous units use the camp as a basecamp to complete The Wanocksett Challenge, hiking the three mountains in one day which Camp Wanockset is named after.
